Ms. Bea Mueller-Meszarich, Ms. Irena Cvetic and Mr. Goran Milosevic, representatives of the Hewlett-Packard company, visited Scientific Computing Laboratory on 25 March 2010. Dr. Aleksandar Belic, head of the lab, presented current research and development projects, as well as the goals of the National Supercomputing Initiative “Blue Danube”. The HP team afterward gave a brief overview of company's portfolio and partnership experiences with academic institutions from all over the Europe. This visit has established contacts and plans for future steps in collaboration between HP and SCL. This will include extensive presentation of HP's datacentar solutions and testing of HP's server products of interest by SCL.
