SCL's Antun Balaz, Vladimir Slavnic, Josip Jakic and Petar Jovanovic attended PRACE-2IP WP7 face to face meeting in Stockholm from March 28th to 30th, 2012. The meeting was part of work package 7 that will provide medium-term petascaling and optimization support for European HPC applications to ensure that they can make effective use of both Tier-0 and Tier-1 systems. Topics discussed during the meeting were petascaling and optimization support for preparatory access projects, application support for new DECI projects, best practice guides for Tier-1 architectures and unified European application benchmark suite for Tier-0 and Tier-1.
