Upgrade of SCL eInfrastructure (AEGIS01-PHY-SCL site). The massive upgrade of SCL grid facilities made possible by equipment grant from the National Investment Plan of the Republic of Serbia has substantially increased the computer power available to SCL researchers. The AEGIS01-PHY-SCL Grid site has become the most powerful site in South Eastern Europe accounting for more than half of the region’s Grid usage during the first quarter of 2008.

Phase one: Procurement and installation of new Grid service nodes, switch modules and UPS. Completed in February 2007.

Phase two: Procurement and installation of new 64-bit worker nodes with 704 CPUs, memory upgrade. Completed in December 2007.
