Mr Durgas Das Goshal, Area Sales Manager for South East Europe and India for Emerson - Knurr AG, and representatives of IBM business partner BTR visited SCL. During initial brainstorming session related to various technical solutions for the cooling for future National Supercomputing and Data Storage Facility and in particular the Blue Danube supercomputer.

The results of this initial meeting will be input into NSDSF design study which is currently in the process of completion. Mr Goshal has indicated two important examples of supercomputing facilities that are of particular interest for the National Supercomputing Initiative in Serbia – the cooling facilities for the supercomputer at the Turbo Institute in Slovenia, and for the data storage system at FZK in Karlsruhe, Germany.
