SCL associate, Prof. Vladimir Dobrosavljevic, has been honored by the American Physical Society and has become their newest Associated Fellow. The prestigious position was awarded to him for "For research on fundamental localization processes near the metal-insulator transition, particularly the interplay of strong electronic correlations, disorder, and quantum glassy dynamics". Prof. Dobrosavljevic was nominated by the Society`s Division for Condensed Matter Physics (DCMP). The Fellowship is given by nomination only, and is awarded to a select number of APS members. We congratulate our colleague for this recognition of his outstanding research effort.
