SCL's Josip Jakic, Petar Jovanovic, Aleksandar Jovic and Milica Cvetkovic attended the PRACE "School for Developers of Petascale Applications", 16- 18 May 2012 at Cracow, Poland. There were  three days of intensive course in high performance computing.
This three-day event included lectures on which the main focus was acquiring knowledge to create efficient and scalable parallel codes for PRACE Tier-0 systems and how to use available Performance Analysis Tools to optimize parallel applications. The IBM Blue Gene/P machine Notos located at ICM, University of Warsaw was at disposal for the participants.This three-day event consisted of theoretical lectures given at the first and third day, and Hands-On sessions at the second day.
