Joint GridPerf Proposal Submitted to SEE-ERA.NET Call
Partners from Serbia (Institute of Physics Belgrade), Bulgaria (Institute of Parallel Processing of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), Albania (Polytechnic University of Tirana and University of Tirana), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (University of Banjaluka) submitted a joint GridPerf project proposal on 31 March 2007 to the SEE-ERA.NET Pilot Joint Call. GridPerf envisages a small-scale nine-month collaborative research effort aiming to analyze and compare existing Grid performance measurement tools, identify the relevant parameters to be measured and to actually measure them across the regional SEE-GRID infrastructure. The proposed pilot project was supported by the SEE-GRID-2 project, and deemed to be complementary to its activities, having potential of significantly contributing to better regional integration of the SEE research community.
