SCL trainee Milan Kornjača won the "Prof. dr Ljubomir Ćirković" foundation award for best MSc thesis at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Belgrade. His MSc thesis on "Polaron Mobility Obtained by a Variational Approach for a Class of Lattice Models" was done at SCL under supervision of Nenad Vukmirović. Milan has recently started his PhD studies at Iowa State University in US.

The award will be presented on 10 October 2017 on the occasion of the day of Faculty of Physics.
