On the occasion of 52nd anniversary of IPB, SCL's Nenad Vukmirovic has received IPB's 2013 yearly award for research, for his contribution to understanding of electronic properties of organic semiconductors, and for the development of methods for their calculation. After receiving the award, Nenad presented the overview of his results during a colloquium talk entitled "Electronic properties of organic semiconductors".

On the same occasion, SCL's Antun Balaz has received IPB's 2013 yearly award for financial contribution to the Institute from international projects.
