Veljko Jankovic won the "Prof. dr Ljubomir Cirkovic" foundation award for best MSc thesis at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Belgrade. His MSc thesis entitled "Non-equilibrium optical conductivity in a system with localized electronic states (in Serbian)" was done at SCL under the supervision of Nenad Vukmirovic. Veljko will continue his research at SCL as a PhD student.

The award will be presented on 10 October 2014 during the day of Faculty of Physics ceremony.
