On 10 July 2015. Jakša Vučičević defended his PhD thesis entitled "Signatures of Hidden Quantum Criticality in the High-temperature Charge Transport Near the Mott Transition" at the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade. The thesis was done in SCL under the supervision of Dr Darko Tanasković. The members of the thesis committee, Dr Darko Tanaskovic, Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Physics, Dr Djordje Spasojevic, Professor at the Faculty of Physics, Dr Mihajlo Vanevic, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Physics, Dr Nenad Vukmirović, Associate Research Professor at the Institute of Physics were impressed with Jaksa's results and his presentation of the thesis..
