SCL hosted a seminar by Dr. Emanouil Atanassov from the Institute for Parallel Processing of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences on 23 December 2009. The talk was entitled Quasi-Monte Carlo Methods for Integrals and Integral Equations, and presented main features, implementation details and advantages of quasi-Monte Carlo methods in comparison with the standard Monte Carlo approach.
